Give a GIFT for LIFE!
As the holiday seasons (as well as birthdays and other special occasions) draw near, thoughts naturally turn to… gifts. These “thoughts” are often a cause for great anxiety in a consumer driven society. We have a solution for you! Your contribution to Rwanda Gift for Life as a gift to family, friends and colleagues will enable Rwanda Gift for Life to add more women to the program that supports women who were raped during the genocide and are now living with AIDS. It’s more than a present – it’s a gift that will support the transformation of one woman’s life.

In Rwanda, the Ministry of Health provides anti-retroviral drugs free to those who need them. However benefiting from these drugs poses a challenge to genocide survivors living with AIDS. Still traumatized by having lost many or most of their family members, lacking sufficient food to take with the drugs, lacking money for transport to the clinic, and too sick to generate their own income, it is extremely difficult to access clinics and to adhere to the strict drug regimen. For the past four years, Rwanda Gift for Life has been supporting women faced by these challenges.

The program is now moving away from direct service to focus particularly on income generation as well as education for children, while still ensuring that the women can access the health care they need.

YOU CAN ENSURE THAT A SURVIVOR OF GENOCIDE AND RAPE AND HER CHILDREN ARE ABLE TO PLAN FOR THEIR FUTURE, AND TO BELIEVE THEY HAVE ONE.

RGFL will provide gift cards, including who its from, who it is for, and information about Rwanda Gift for Life. The minimum contribution is $10 per card.
